Share the Tradition

A Message from Michael McLean

Dear friends,

Michael McLean here.

It’s not Christmas yet, but this is the time of year when we traditionally start ramping up our preparations for the tour. And just the thought of it brings me so much joy.

Last year, I was blessed to meet more fans than I have in years. The fact that my son, Scot, played Uncle John (he is a better actor than I’ll ever be!) allowed us to sing together once again — and gave me the chance to see and connect with so many of you after the shows.

The joy of these connections is something I can never fully express in words.

But what has been especially meaningful to me are all the stories you’ve shared with me — this year and over the decades — about your Forgotten Carols traditions and memories.

The way you experience the show as a family.
The way you discovered it.
How the songs and stories help you connect with loved ones, and with those on the other side of the vail.

These are the stories that make The Forgotten Carols more than a show. They are what make it a tradition.

So, as we begin preparing for this year’s tour, I want to hear from you.

Tell us about your Forgotten Carols tradition and memories. Share The Tradition

Was it your first time seeing the show?
A tradition you’ve carried on with your family?
A special song, moment, or memory that has stayed with you?
How has the experience changed as your family has grown and new generations have joined?

Send us your story — and we’ll share them throughout the tour.

And as we prepare for the tour, I’ll be sharing some of my own traditions and memories with you along the way.

We’ve made it super easy to share your video.

Yours Truly,
Michael McLean
